Cybercrime in the Middle East

Some numbers cyber crimes in the Middle East, according to a report from the company "Symantec" January 30, 2012 .. - 76 percent of Internet users in the UAE have been subjected to electronic attacks over the past twelve months.

- 75.5 percent rate of emails annoying in Saudi Arabia, has been classified in January as the first country in the world in terms of targeting this type of spam,Kuwait was ranked fourth on the list of the five most targeted annoying e-mail messages, which amounted to 71.9 percent during January.
- 94 percent of the number of attacks against Symantec, which has monitored and stopped at the level of the world during the month of November, up 300 percent from the beginning of the year.
- AED 770 million direct cash cost ratio for electronic crimes to users in the United Arab Emirates over the last ten twelve months.
